Equine-Assisted Counseling
Equine-Assisted Counseling Sessions
During an individual session, the horses are equal partners in supporting therapeutic learning opportunities during shared learning experiences. Through a combination of body/breathwork, sharing territory, and mindful interactions, clients, explore connecting to their senses and intuition as they communicate and interact with these highly somatic beings. Horses respond to body language, emotion, and energy in ways that will allow clients to look within at their communication and thought patterns. A session will often end with an expressive sandtray experience to integrate and process their time with the horses.
